Cleo Welch - Development Coordinator

Cleo is a recent graduate of Occidental College, where she studied sociology and public health. Her interests center on the intersection of social justice, public health, and community-based development. She is passionate about culturally informed approaches to community well-being and is excited to bring this perspective to PeaceTrees.

During her study abroad experience in Vietnam, Cleo developed a deeper interest in community-based development and Vietnamese culture and history. Following her time in Vietnam, she completed her Senior Research Project exploring Asian immigrant motherhood through the perspectives of second-generation children.

Outside of work, Cleo enjoys crafting, playing mahjong, and she is currently fostering a cat named Soap!
