Take Action & Volunteer

Take grassroots action to support global demining programs!

U.S. Voters - take 30 seconds to write to your representative about mine action issues

One of the most effective ways to ensure that global programs for mine action are sustainably funded is by contacting your representatives to let them know that these issues are important to you.

While these kinds of grassroots actions can be taken by people around the world, PeaceTrees is proud to be partnering with our colleagues in mine action to support education and awareness raising of global mine action issues for a U.S. audience.

While the act of calling or writing to your Congressional representative only takes 30 second, the results have a life-long impact on the safety and livelihoods of individuals around the world. U.S. voters - we invite you to learn more about specific advocacy campaigns that you can support by visiting this website.

Volunteer to educate your networks

You can also take action by educating your friends, family, and colleagues about the important work of PeaceTrees Vietnam. Please contact us if you would like help organizing an information session for your school, workplace, church, or community group.

Additionally, we encourage you to sign up for our newsletter and to forward it along to your networks. Education and awareness raising is a critical component of ensuring that communities impacted by war continue to receive the funding needed to recover, rebuild, and prosper.
