Honoring the Life and Legacy of Admiral Tom Hayward
It is with heavy hearts PeaceTrees mourns the loss of Admiral Thomas B. Hayward, former Chief of Naval Operations, and PeaceTrees supporter and friend. Admiral Hayward passed away on March 3, 2022 at the age of 97. He and his family have been dedicated donors and tireless advocates of PeaceTrees' work for many years, especially in support of our scholarship and kindergarten programs. We are grateful for his leadership, friendship, and commitment to the children of Vietnam. We will miss a dear friend and his warm smile.
