Providing access to clean water
Access to clean water is an increasingly important priority for the communities PeaceTrees works with. In remote, mountainous areas of Vietnam, people are often reliant upon unclean and unsafe sources for their daily water consumption, which frequently causes poor health within the community.
As climate change threatens to exacerbate this problem, PeaceTrees is working to ensure that all communities we work with have access to clean water, safe for everyday drinking and household use.
Each one of PeaceTrees’ kindergartens are equipped with water wells that provide clean water to the schools and to the surrounding community. Additionally, since 2017, PeaceTrees has provided community wells in the following areas:
