Supporting bright futures through educational development
In low-income Vietnamese communities, PeaceTrees supports educational development projects that help address generational poverty rooted in the aftermath of war. PeaceTrees pursues projects at the request of community members and their representative organizations, such as the Women’s Union in Quảng Trị.
We build kindergartens and libraries, and provide scholarships to female ethnic minority children, children impacted by an explosive ordnance accident or living with a disability, and children experiencing financial hardships. These scholarships ease the financial burden of sending a child to school, which increases the likelihood that a child will receive the education required to end generational poverty. With the support of our generous donors, we help ensure thriving futures for children impacted by the legacy of war.
