About the Friendship Village Kindergarten

The kindergarten is a part of the larger PeaceTrees Vietnam project, PeaceTrees Friendship Village. The kindergarten is within a close range of the village and the Danaan Perry Landmine Education center. The Friendship Village kindergarten was the first kindergarten funded and built by PeaceTrees Vietnam following a request from the Quang Tri Province Women’s Union for more early childhood education support.
•Built in 2002, the Friendship Village Kindergarten is the oldest PeaceTrees kindergarten and had a playground added in 2009.
•The school serves children ages 3 to 5, with over 800 students already served.
•The school has 3 classrooms, making it the biggest PeaceTrees Vietnam kindergarten in Quang Tri Province.
